DREW CALVIN

Musician Portfolio

Folk Singer Drew Calvin performs his song "One Percenter", which sarcastically lampoons the wealthiest 1% of the US population responsible for the economic disaster and deep recession that the hard hit 99% are left to sort out. The song is deeply reminiscent of the rallying songs of Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger, Paul Simon, Dan Fogelberg and Harry Chapin. Recording and video by Jamey Reilly at VirtuaLux Studio, Philadelphia.

ABOUT DREW CALVIN

The WALL

A moving tribute by singer/songwriter DREW CALVIN to his own father, an unsung Korean War veteran. The song is reminiscent of Dan Fogelberg's, "Leader of The Band," and reveals the private and sometimes tragic torment that many of our nation's soldiers carried long after their brave service ended... and its affect on their families to this day. Featuring Ray Duffy on Fender resonator guitar. Recorded and produced by Jamey Reilly at Philadelphia's PSALM Salon in April 2012. www.psalmsalon.com
